This is an Excel spreadsheet to assist students in keeping track of the Evolve case studies they have completed. It is mostly intended for use in NUR 025, the NCLEX prep class, in which students are required to complete a certain number of case studies in each category by certain dates throughout the term. The spreadsheet allows you to enter the name and category of each case study as you complete it, along with your score (optional). It keeps a running tabulation of how many case studies you’ve completed in each category and how many you have left to do.
To use the spreadsheet, enter the number of required case studies for each category (red numbers) in the top form, and as you complete case studies, enter their names and categories in the lower form. The numbers at the top will update automatically to tell you what you have left to do.
The spreadsheet is locked to prevent inadvertent changes of calculated fields, but if you are an Excel guru and want to make changes for any reason, the password to unlock it is “linfield.”
